Building spirit

When councils follow a well-made agenda and employ a sound group process, they create a sense of community and can better achieve their mission. For more information, see the links below.

Councillors appropriate the spirit of Christ when they undertake the mission of pastoral planning.

  • Enriched agendas.  An agenda can be a mere list of topics or it can help councillors prepare for and enjoy the the meeting.
  • Long-Term.  Those who lay out a good long-term agenda create the basis for good meetings.
  • The “product” of councils.  The product is good advice, but the process is important as well.
  • Small Christian communities.  Pastoral councils are not SCCs, but they can learn a lot from them.
